Home Access & Privacy Policy

Security, discretion, and homeowner privacy are foundational to our service. Clients may choose one of the following secure access options:

Smart Lock Access (Preferred)

Clients with keypad or smart entry systems may create a dedicated access code for Snuggles & Strides Pet Concierge.

Benefits:​

  • No physical key exchange

  • Access can be added or removed at any time

  • Fully discreet

Secure Key Retention

For recurring clients:
 

  • Keys are tagged with coded identifiers only

  • No names or addresses are attached.

  • ​Keys are stored in a locked key management system

  • Access information is stored separately

  • Keys are never duplicated without written authorization

Discreet Lockbox Option (Optional)

If preferred, we may utilize a neutral black lockbox.

Lockbox standards:

  • ​Subtle, minimal branding only

  • No identifying information displayed

  • Positioned discreetly

  • Never indicates home vacancy

Confidentiality Standards

We operate with private-service discretion.

​We do not:

  • Publicly share client addresses​

  • Post home photos without consent

  • Discuss client residences

  • Share alarm codes or entry details

  • Your privacy is respected at all times.

Scheduling & Availability

  • 24–48 hours notice recommended

  • Weekend appointments available (premium rates may apply)

  • Holiday scheduling fills quickly

  • Recurring weekday clients receive priority booking

We do not overbook. Each client receives focused attention.

Payment Policy

  • Payment is required prior to service

  • Digital invoicing provided

  • Recurring plans may enroll in automatic billing

  • Late payments may result in service suspension

 

Rates are subject to change with notice.

Cancellation Policy

  • 24-hour notice required for weekday cancellations

  • 48-hour notice may apply for weekends and holidays

  • Same-day cancellations may be charged in full

  • Holiday services may require prepayment

  • Visits canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full.

 

This policy protects reserved appointment times.

Veterinary & Emergency Policy

  • In the event of illness, injury, or emergency:

  • We will attempt to contact the client immediately

  • If unreachable, we will contact the emergency contact

  • If necessary, we may transport the pet to the designated veterinarian

 

The client assumes financial responsibility for veterinary expenses incurred.

Weather & Safety Policy (Texas Climate)

In extreme Texas heat:

  • ​Walk durations may be adjusted

  • Hydration breaks prioritized

  • Pavement safety evaluated

 

In severe weather:

  • ​Schedule adjustments may occur

  • Clients will be notified promptly

  • Pet safety always takes precedence.

​​Limitation of Liability

While Snuggles & Strides Pet Concierge exercises reasonable care and professionalism:

  • We are not liable for pets that escape due to faulty fencing or doors

  • We are not liable for injury resulting from undisclosed aggression

  • We are not responsible for damage caused by pets

  • We are not liable for acts of nature, burglary, or third-party actions

Except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct, the client agrees to hold harmless Snuggles & Strides Pet Concierge.

Home Care Standards

We treat your residence with the same respect as your pet.

  • Doors and gates secured

  • Lights adjusted if requested

  • Shoes removed upon request

  • Feeding areas left clean

  • No visible pet-sitting signage

 

We leave no trace beyond a calm, cared-for pet.
